What’s the best way to protect your eyes? By eating the right foods, of course! By maintaining a healthy diet, you help to keep your eyes in optimal health. Nutrients such as omega-3, lutein, zinc, and vitamins C and E are critical in helping to prevent vision problems.

Add these ten foods to your daily diet in order to get your dose of these important nutrients:

  • Tomatoes
  • Kale and Spinach (helps to reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts)
  • Eggs
  • Oranges (an excellent source of vitamin C)
  • Grapefruit
  • Nuts
  • Fish
